Life in Pictures is our weekly mini-gallery of what we have been up to over the past seven days. This week we’ve been enjoying getting out in the sunshine and playing in all the parks and gardens we could find. 

 

A BIG Thank You

Yesterday we found out that our blog has become a finalist in the Brilliance in Blogging Awards (BIBs) for Best Craft Blog. When we found out via twitter, we did a wiggly, jiggly dance and texted each other with a OMG!!!!!! We are so grateful to everyone who voted for us to get this far, anyone who comments on our posts and for turning up in the first place and reading our blog – we wouldn’t be here without you (we’d like to give you all a big hug). We’re up against so really fantastic crafts blogs and feel very privileged to be among them. Click here to have a look at the finalists.

 And, erm… if you feel like voting again (you know you want to!) then nominations for the Best Craft Blog in the MADs (Mum and Dad Awards) are still open. This week we’ve been visiting bluebell woods (although the bluebells decided not to join us) and enjoying the 3 minutes of sunshine splashing in the Diana Memorial fountain in London and seeing the sights.

Unfortunately it’s been a tough week for one of the Buttons as she got struck by chicken pox, the poor little thing.

Life In Pictures: Meeting the Easter Bunny

Last week we were invited to go and meet the Easter bunny for breakfast! We were greeted by Alice (of Alice in Wonderland) and sat down to a table decorated with Easter goodies. After a full breakfast, we decorated Easter biscuits and then the Easter bunny arrived with a fluffy rabbit and chocolate for the Buttons. Thank you to Wyevale Garden Centre for having us – we can’t wait to come back and meet Father Christmas!

Welcome To Our Newest Little Button

Our newest Little Button has arrived. Grayson kept us waiting for a week but it was more than worth it. We’d slightly forgotten that babies like to party all night, but no amount of sleep deprivation could burst this newborn bubble.

Harper has taken to big sister duties brilliantly and has only nearly sat on him a few times. It’s been wonderful documenting Harper’s first couple of years on this blog, and we can’t wait to share Grayson’s journey with you too.
